Establishing Low-Cost Rabies Vaccine Options for the Community

In the past, establishing low-cost rabies vaccine options for vulnerable residents was not successful in Hamilton. This presentation will outline how a new approach to a much-needed resource for residents with financial burdens was successful in obtaining various options for low-cost rabies vaccines in the community.  It will also focus on the importance of the partnership with the local vet community as well as the logistics of planning and implementing low-cost rabies clinics and voucher programs.
