Water quality monitoring in dental offices continues to be an underestimated issue. The scope of the presentation is to review past reports of public health impact caused by water quality in healthcare settings (dental waterlines, water for dialysis, etc) to patients and healthcare professionals, a review of case studies performed in Canada and internationally, and current and future water quality monitoring solutions that can help minimize the risk of water-related outbreaks in healthcare settings.
